About Us
Born and raised in New York, Eric Eisenberg has dedicated his career to the culinary arts. He trained and worked in France for nearly five years before returning to New York, where he served as Executive Chef at the Embassy of Luxembourg to the United Nations. In the mid-90s, he moved to Seattle and opened Relais Restaurant, which was nationally acclaimed and named one of America's Top Tables by Gourmet Magazine.
In 2004, seeking work-life balance, Eric joined Swedish Hospital's award-winning team, pioneering hospital room service. For two decades, he has been elevating healthcare cuisine, emphasizing fresh, healthy food with appealing presentations. As corporate executive chef at Swedish Health Services, he promoted the idea that healthcare food should rival any other foodservice segment, creating inspiring operational environments for which he was awarded the IFMA Silver Plate in 2020.
Eric has also worked to position healthcare chefs as a desirable career path, motivating them to set new industry standards. Now, after 20 years in hospitals and senior living, Eric has launched iQlinary Consulting, a consultancy offering integrated operations management solutions across all foodservice segments as well as talent and guidance for television, radio and online platforms.
